Auction #199 - Part II
Item numbers 973 through 2378 in auction 199
Item Description
9” tall tin litho by Ohio Art. 1930s. Each side features same image of Mickey serenading Minnie by playing a saxophone at nighttime, Minnie watches from above while Pluto is seated next to Mickey. Additional images include sprinkling can behind Mickey and crescent moon in the sky. This is the largest and most desirable Mickey Ohio Art sprinkling can. Bottom of handle has one rivet which has popped loose but still held firmly intact by the second rivet. Slightest trace of aging to interior. Outside has very minor trace of paint wear and a couple of exceedingly minor indents only visible in reflected light. All this noted for complete accuracy but overall as nice as any 1930s sprinkling can we’ve seen retaining an exceptionally bright and glossy appearance with deep rich color. VF with an Exc./N. Mint appearance.
