Item Description
5.5x4.5" tall figural painted and glazed ceramic mug depicts funny man Bob Hope's head as a mug. c. 1940s. The handle to mug is that of a gold putter which Hope was rarely seen without. Hope's likeness is caricature and prominently features his ski-slope nose and his large chin makes up the base of the mug. Bottom is stamped "Hollywood Mugs-Barclay." Also has painted name of artist "Doya" on base. Exc. to N. Mint. From the Hake collection.
