Item Description
Lot of three 11x14" for the following movies: Hold That Ghost, Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein. "Hold That Ghost" title card from the 1941 film features carciatures of them in a frightened state shining a flashlight on the title which is written on a ghost. The ghost wraps his arm around them as well as caricatures of Ted Lewis and the Andrews Sisters. Card has moderate wear including dust soiling, pin holes, tape at right center margin, corner tip wear, spotting. Good. The imperfections in this title card could be easily matted out as they are mostly on the margins, leaving a VF appearance to the image. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the title card for the 1953 Universal picture. This colorful card features photo images of Bud and Lou's faces on caricatured bodies, an image of Boris Karloff as Dr. Jekyll holding a syringe and stunt man Eddy Parker as Mr. Hyde, a skull and a Betty Grable-like woman recoiling in horror. Exc. Frankenstein lobby card is for the 1956 re-release of the 1948 Universal International picture. Image is a color tone image of Bud and Lou just after they have uncovered the Frankenstein monster played by Glenn Strange. Minor handling wear, pin holes and is Fine.
