Item Description
4.5x9x8.5” tall doll comes in nicely illustrated box. ©1938. Front/back panels feature same large image of Ferdinand while 2 side panels have images of him sniffing a flower plus 4 picadors. Box is complete although one inner flap is loose. Box has dust soiling and scattered small traces of edge wear but remains tight and with strong color. Box is Fine and scarce. Doll is variety in black (also produced in brown). Has image of bee on hind quarter and his name appears above one leg. Complete with pipe cleaner/string tail and fabric flower attached to mouth. Has typical hairline crazing to the paint mostly on doll’s back but only a few tiny paint chips/flakes. Other lt. wear but still retains a glossy appearance. Fine. Rarely found complete and with box.
