Large and impressive 4x9.5x7.5” tall painted and glazed ceramic. 1950s. Great design depicting Donald speeding along in his motorboat as waves crash around base. Top of hat has a .25x.5” glaze flake with blue color touch-up. The red over-the-glaze paint on his bow tie appears to be neatly re-painted. Minor and typical crazing but appearance remains totally bright and glossy. VF. The only example we’ve offered in our 43 years and this piece is listed in Disneyana Collectors Guide to California Pottery at $1,000+.
