5.5” tall beautifully painted and glazed ceramic depicting him sitting atop a chest with head resting on his hand as he looks pensive. Nicely detailed with him wearing apron and tool belt with hammer. Underside has “Geppetto Pottery” mark. 1940. Has repair to break at ankles but o/w remains totally bright and glossy. A rare figurine, the last example we offered (also with a repair) sold for $1,826.
