Item Description
3.25x4.75" box contains two decks © 1941 Esquire Inc. Cards were made by the Arrco Playing Card Co. from Chicago. Decks have art by Alberto Vargas emblazoned on the back. One deck has been opened and features art of slinky blonde in evening gown. Cards have some lt. handling wear but are VF. Second deck is sealed and image is that of a reclining nude (retouched) redhead. Box also has insert to separate cards. Mint in box. Face cards are that of "Esky," Esquire's mascot. Box lid features line-drawn caricature of Esky's face. Bottom of box has two examples of each deck card affixed. Box has moderate wear, some surface paper lifting and edge wear. VG.
