Item Description
Each is 5.25” tall painted and glazed ceramic figurine. Both are American Pottery versions of figurines originally produced by Vernon Kilns (see items #1836-1838). Each has worn but intact foil sticker. Three different elephant poses and 3 different hippo poses were produced and both in this lot differ from the previous items. 1940s. Elephant has repair to trunk break while hippo has .25x.75” flake from under front edge of outfit but not really visible when viewed straight-on. Both retain bright and glossy appearances but are sold “as is.”
