Item Description
Both are 7/8”. First shows branch with trio of luscious red sour cherries, a variety introduced from eastern Europe c. 1905. Rim text reads “Brusseler Braune Cherry/Greening Bros., Introducers, Monroe, Mich.” Text a little off-center to the right. Has W&H backpaper. Mint as made. Second shows beautifully colored peach with green leaf against contrasting red bkg. Name above is apparently the variety “Ray” issued for “Harrison’s Nurseries, Berlin, Md.” Backpaper by Torsch & Franz of Baltimore. Mint. Comes with Hake’s COA.
