The 4 in the top row are from the early 1900s and feature the highest quality color. “Kar-A-Van Tribe Coffee” depicts a camel loaded to transport the product. This has W&H backpaper used only 1900-1912. Second for “San Marto Coffee” shows elf-like character and has W&H paper c. 1915. The next pair for “Lion Coffee” are c. 1900 and both have original backpapers reading “It’s Perfectly Pure Lion Coffee.” The oval is for “Old Judge Coffee,” no backpaper likely as issued. Next is 1” litho picturing a cardinal bird on a branch forming a rebus “Drink (Cardinal or Red Bird) Coffee.” Couple tiny white craze lines in the paint but clean. The 1.25” is for “Great American Tea Co./Coffee Specialists Since 1856.” Very trivial scuff at center showing only in reflected light. Last is 7/8” with woman’s face surrounded by apparent coffee leaf with text above “Café Puro ‘Almendra Tropical’.” Bottom edge has tiny text for company in “Barranquilla” Columbia. All are Exc. to N. Mint. A nice group for a small framed display.
