Item Description
14x17” black wood frame with double mat has opening of 7x10” around set of 5 different enameled metal pins, each 1.5” to 2” tall. Relief mounted to illustrated bkg. Pins depict Mickey in different hats, including his most famous hat from his role as Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Others are Captain’s hat, cowboy hat, top hat and sombrero. Bkg. features collage of images of Mickey in many different hats and art was derived from an October 1949 Disney annual report. Limited edition of just 100 sets which was a Disney auction exclusive and comes with their COA. Penciled edition number at lower right “37/100.” Released 10/29/2001 and quickly retired 11/5/2001. Comes with original shipping carton. Mint and ready for display. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
