Item Description
1.25x9.5x13.5" box contains five 3.5" tall jointed-arm bisque dolls which have "Made In Japan" imprints on back plus five completed costumes. Set was made c. late 1930s-early 1940s by J. Pressman Co. Inc. Paper insert that costumes laid on has some fading but costumes are VF as made. Dolls are Exc. to N. Mint in appearance. Box lid has a st. warp and some moisture spotting in upper left corner as well as a 2.5x5" moisture stain running along the upper right corner, st. punch through the word "Sewing" and the "E" in "Set" has a surface paper lift. Edge wear and corner tip wear but corners are tight, box is clean and Fine. Tray has a corner split in upper left corner.
