Item Description
Toy has overall size of 3.5x5x9.5” tall and consists of large colorful celluloid figure attached to wheeled tin platform base that has built-in key. 1930s by Kuramochi, Japan. Box features large paper label on lid that includes text “Best Made” (see Marionette Theater #1390). Box has very lt. aging, minute traces of surface paper loss due to insects mostly to extreme margin edges and only noticeable when viewed closely. Label remains bright and clean. Box VF. Toy depicts girl wearing cap and holding onto her hobby horse. Works and travels in a circle as figure rocks back and forth. Superb, N. Mint condition. An incredible celluloid toy in choice condition. Rare with even rarer box.
