Item Description
Very striking 1.25” design c. 1904 complete with its backpaper by F.F. Pulver of Rochester. Rim text reads “Boston Sunday Herald Puzzle Club.” Newsboy with papers under one arm and untied shoelaces flying gallops along displaying the front page. This button was apparently used as an award in the contest as small text reads “Honorable Mention.” Essentially Mint. Comes with Hake’s COA. Only one we recall offering.
