Item Description
1.25” brass medallion with seldom seen design of Trylon and Perisphere reading “New York World’s Fair 1939.” Blank reverse. This is suspended to total height of 4” on dark red fabric which at top is clamped to a brass bar with pin on reverse. Slightly darkened but easily readable gold text “Winner/News-Post American Carrier/May 1939.” Rare and VF. Only example we’ve seen.
