Item Description
AFTER COMPLETION OF THE CATALOG, ORIGINAL BOX WAS FOUND/ADDED BY CONSIGNOR-DESCRIPTION UPDATED-PHOTO ADDED.
8.5” tall tin litho with built-in key. 1950s. Comes with box that features great art on all sides of lid including Giraffe and other animals playing with a ball. General light wear with some aging and few minor creases/edge wear. Box remains tight and very colorful. Fine. Giraffe wearing striped shirt and bib overalls is in seated position and attached by a wire in front of him is a beach ball. Complete with separate tin ears and rubber antlers. Toy works and he bounces the ball up and down. Front of base has 1.5” hairline scratch, o/w toy has just tiny scattered paint nicks. Glossy and VF. Great toy with rarely seen box.
