13/16” tall extremely finely detailed full figure of The Yellow Kid in his nightshirt although depicted with no feet showing below the shirt edge. Reverse has tiny and faint, but readable in certain light, imprint of the maker W&H Co./Newark. Given the quality of the piece, it seems to be a licensed depiction of Richard Outcault’s famous newspaper comic strip character. The first we recall seeing of this design. Rare and N. Mint.
