Item Description
15.25x16” frame contains professionally double-matted display with acetate sheet, opening measuring about 8.25x9.25”. Cel depicts mother and father duck standing over 4 baby ducklings, the Ugly Duckling nowhere in sight. From 1939 Silly Symphony, the last in the Silly Symphonies series. Original Courvoisier-provided painted bkg. Reverse has original Courvoisier Galleries label as well as Arthur Ackermann & Son, Inc. worn labels are preserved under plastic on back of frame. Cel shows lt. traces of wear with some lifting of painted accents, most noticeable on father duck’s bill, collar and leg. VF overall.
