Item Description
Two 9.5x12” sheets of animation paper with images measuring 3.25x4.75” done in lead pencil. Drawing #317 features Mickey Mouse as Uncle Tom with exploding firecracker in his mouth. Drawing #359 features Mickey Mouse again as Uncle Tom, clearly in stereotypical blackface. Both from 1933 Mickey Mouse cartoon. Lt. handling and aging but sheets remain clean and art is Exc. Nice pair.
