Item Description
Tin litho toy has base dia. of 6" and height of 7". 1960s by T.P.S., Japan. From a series of "Tippy" toys in which tipping over the toy resets weight on rod to activate mechanism. This causes two trains to spin and a bell to ring as rod slowly drops by gravity within base of the toy. Each train is in a different color scheme and features comical face, rubber smokestack. Trains travel around track. Around the outside of the cylindrical base are scenes of animals, trains, cowboy and cowgirl. Top has plastic dome cover. Few minor paint marks but toy remains bright, glossy and displays Exc. Neat toy, works.
