We were auctioning and collecting buttons for 40 years before we saw our first example of this one in January, 2007. This second example comes to us from the Green Duck Button Co. archives. It is 1-3/8” litho with unique smiling photo of Roy beneath his famous title “King Of The Cowboys.” The lighter red area at the right is not fading or paint wear, just simply some shading of the red bkg. as intended in the design. There is a single pinpoint paint dot on that far edge but that barely shows and the only other defect is a faint 1/16” white line between the words “King Of.” Glossy and N. Mint.
