Item Description
This is the first example of this ring we have been able to offer since 2001. It is a late 30s ring with brass adjustable bands with ring top holding a clear plastic domed cover over a real photo of the radio comedian. Under the dome is a single tiny orange ball which can be positioned into 1of 3 tiny circular cut-outs, 2 of which flank his image and 1 of which is on his hat. The previous example we had of this ring contained 3 tiny gray balls. It does not look like this example has ever been tampered with as the 2 tiny brass tabs on the other side show no trace of being opened and closed. Its quite possible the number of balls was subject to the quirks of those assembling the ring. Ring has nearly full brass luster and the plastic dome is clean and clear. Our previous example reached almost $800. Rare.
