Auction #199 - Part II
Item numbers 973 through 2378 in auction 199
Item Description
This 1-3/8” design c. 1949 is known as a litho in red, black and yellow. In that coloration, 4 or 5 are known to exist. This is the first time we have seen the same design in red, black and white without yellow color. It comes from the Green Duck Button Co. archive. Condition is N. Mint with just a few trifling and near invisible 1/32” rim marks. For practical purposes, condition is about as close to Mint as possible. Possibly a unique surviving example. Comes with Hake's COA.
