Item Description
3x7.5x2" tall tin litho car by Swallow Toys Co., Japan. 1950s. Car is very nicely decorated including large portrait images of circus performing dog on hood and bear on trunk. On the roof are two different birds. Repeated three times on the car's body is "Circus Parade." Hood has diecut opening and when friction mechanism is activated, a tin litho clown figure from the waist up pops up and down as car travels forward. Scattered minute paint nicks. Glossy and VF. Great design.
