Item Description
3.25x6.5” black on cream silk with thin silvery-white silk stripes down the margins. Ribbon is in the Sullivan/Fischer ribbon book as GW-23 although that example refers to the Washington Monument with date of Oct. 19, 1842. This example is from that era but undated and with patriotic sentiment in a panel below the elaborate floral design surrounding his portrait “The Spirit Of Washington Inspires Us.” One of only 3 we’ve seen and in superb, essentially Mint condition.
