Item Description
First is 11.5x15.25” with 3 text lines “Martin Van Buren/Eighth President Of The United States/Pub. By Case & Skinner Hartford, Conn.” Right and bottom margins a bit trimmed but still plenty remains. Has 8” horizontal tear at right center but only a 3” line like a ripple remains visible due to professional repair. Deep hand-applied colors. Would frame to Exc. appearance. Second is 8.25x20.75”. Likely trimmed from larger size but very nice full figure portrait with apparent complete text below on 3 lines “Philad. Publ. By W.H. Morgan & Son/Martin Van Buren/President Of The United States.” .25x1” right edge chip and dots off upper corners. Will frame to Exc. appearance.
