Item Description
Lot of 2. Issued during short life of the German airship “Hindenburg.” 3/1936 – 5/1937. First is 4.25x6.25” envelope. Aged more so on back than front. Fine. Second is 8.25x11.75”. Letterhead in German roughly translates to mean “Airship Hindenburg/On Board/German Zeppelin Shipping Company.” Parchment-like paper. Horizontal/vertical folds likely as issued. Trace of aging and some scattered lt. staining. Fine.
