Item Description
13x22.5x3.75” deep box contains 17’ perimeter cloth tent that when assembled has a height of 58”. H. Wenzel Tent & Duck Co. ©1958 Lone Ranger, Inc. Canvas material tent has art images of Lone Ranger riding Silver and Tonto riding Scout as well as official Lone Ranger horseshoe seal. “Lone Ranger Wigwam” text appears above door flap. Canvas is slightly aged but clean and Exc. Box contains 6 wooden poles and 3 metal stakes, other generic pieces missing but easily replaceable and main items of box and tent remain. Box has image of children playing with assembled tent as well as portrait image of Lone Ranger with smaller images of him and Tonto on Silver and Scout. Lid of box has cut-out masks of Lone Ranger and Tonto with separate feather, Lone Ranger mask and “Ranger” badge cut-outs. In addition, there are six 1.5” tall “bullets” to cut out. All remain uncut. Tonto’s feather has some tape staining. Box interior has been reinforced and remains sturdy for display. Moderate creasing and edge/corner tip wear with 1” splits at corners. VG. Scarce set with rare box as box was meant to be destroyed by cutting out masks, etc.
