7x9.5” box contains yarn kit #H101 (green) for making puppet mittens of Howdy Doody and Clarabell. c. 1950s. ©Kagran. Bear Brand yarn kit by Bernhard Ulmann Co. Inc. Kit remains sealed and due to tightness of shrink wrap, box has warped noticeably. VG/Fine with unused, N. Mint contents. 8.5x11.5” acetate sheet covered sales catalogue for Bernhard Ulmann Co., Inc. and their variety of knitting kits consisting of making socks, sweaters, slippers, ties, gloves and Christmas stockings as well as doll outfits. Third and second to last page have full color ad spreads for Howdy Doody and Clarabell puppet mitten kit and slipper sock kits. Cover shows obvious wear with cracking of bkg. color which has been secured with clear tape strips to reverse of front cover. VG. Pages are lightly aged but Exc. overall. Catalogue is dated Jul., 1953. Salesman’s catalogue to be shown to retail stores. First we’ve seen.
