Item Description
8.75" dia. glazed china. 5.5" center is recessed area w/color transfer of Teddy B. and Teddy G. sliding down a rope from a hot air balloon. Text below reads "They Slide Down Ropes And Hit The Ground/And Land In Chicago Safe And Sound." Center rim is raised then sides flare out like a plate so it lays flat and can't tip over. Two bear images on flared-out edge, one missing head as applied. 14K gold band worn off inner rim but 90% remains on outer rim. Minor bit of age tone on center white bkg. but only real stains are on outer rim side edges, mostly on underside and not apparent. Back of plate reads "Royal Baby Plate Patented U.S. Feb. 7, 1905/Germany, Great Britain, France, Canada." Overall Fine. Second we've seen.
