Item Description
12x17.75” unused punchboard with separate 12” tall die-cut figure of nude pin-up barely covering herself with towel. c. late 1930s-early 1940s. Total of 1,228 punch-out circles, none being punched with additional 120 “Jackpot” circles, none of which are punched. Scattered lt. wear along edges with tiny trace of oxidation to small tacks used to secure separate pin-up image to board. Still displays Exc. Among the nicest pin-up related punchboards we have seen. Unlike most which just have paste-over art used with other items of the era, this was specifically designed for use with this punchboard as the pin-up relates to the punchboard, being decorated with “Towel Jackpot” and “Phone Stand Jackpot,” it’s phone ringing, interrupting the pin-up’s bath.
