Complete lot of fifteen 8.5x13” typed scripts for the 1938 Republic serial starring Lee Powell and Chief Thundercloud as Lone Ranger and Tonto. Serial consisted of 15 episodes, individual scripts for each episode included here. Each script has 2 hole punches along left margin as produced with staple fasteners. Varying degrees of handling wear and aging, most are Fine. Comes with 12x18”, 16-page pressbook for this same serial. Cover has nice image of Lone Ranger on rearing Silver. Of note, Lone Ranger’s mask is quite large with mesh covering remainder of his face. Book deals with various publicity areas including radio stations carrying “The Lone Ranger” program, serial chapter synopsis, “National Campaigns” including Big Little Book tie-in with bw photo of Lone Ranger holding BLB as well as Lone Ranger shirts and ad mats. Also provided are newspaper publicity articles for use in local papers to promote film with several bw photos. Another page shows 3-6 sheet movie posters for the film and giant banner.
