8.5x11-5/8” with 130 pages. Jul., 1932 issue published by The Crowell Publishing Co. Vol. 114, #1. Magazine contains the first appearance in print of Dashiell Hammett’s Sam Spade short story “A Man Called Spade.” Story is accompanied by illustrations by Joseph Clement. Issue has scattered handling wear with some surface paper lifts to bottom margins of front cover which has remnants of original mailing label. Fine/VF.
