Item Description
3.75x4.5”. c. 1930s. Story deals with Mae and her husband being unable to conceive a child and Will Rogers answering newspaper ad and becoming sexually involved with Mae with her husband’s consent in order to produce child. Will is of course aware of this and apologizes to husband explaining he used a condom. Nice quality art with detailed likenesses of each star. Lt. trace of handling wear with some rust soiling at staple. VF/Exc. Nice quality art. Rare title and even rarer variety, this being the first example we’ve seen with this 2 color cover with keyhole image on back.
