19.75x23.75” die-cut cardboard standee with easel back. c. mid-1950s. Text block at center has “Books For Boys And Girls” flocked text and standee pictures coloring and paperdoll books for Roy Rogers, Howdy Doody, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, The Lone Ranger, Gene Autry, Bugs Bunny, Elizabeth Taylor, Ava Gardner, Donald Duck, etc. St. fade from window display. Edges/corners show wear with some creasing and surface paper wear. Easel on reverse has 5-3/8” tear but remains firmly attached. Fine. Rare.
