Item Description
7.5” tall Mammy and 7.5” tall Chef. Glazed ceramic made by Enesco, Japan. c. 1950s. Chef still has original foil sticker on underside though it shows wear. Both have all-over hairline crazing. Mammy has wear to red over-the-glaze paint on lips and large spoon. Also has .75” hairline crack to upper rim of base by spoon. Some slight discoloration but Fine/VF overall. Chef has lt. wear to over-the-glaze red paint on lips but VF/Exc. This pair is listed in the Cookie Jar Book by Supnick at $1200.00-$1800.00 each. Extremely conservative opening bid based on that value.
