8.25x10.75” hardcover with 128 pages. ©1916 Leslie-Judge Co. Contents include bw silent comedy movie stills on nearly every page with some pages featuring multiple images. Contents also include a few scattered full page colortone photos of prominent humorists, with special attention paid to Charlie Chaplin and Roscoe “Fatty Arbuckle.” Great color image of Charlie Chaplin being “Pinched?” by police officer. Another color image shows Fatty Arbuckle in chef’s hat and several other pictures of Arbuckle, including 2 of him dressed in drag. Another page is devoted to the 1915 film version of “Alice In Wonderland” featuring great masked images of the March Hare, Dormouse and Mad Hatter seated at tea party with Alice. Other prominent stars referenced are Mary Pickford, Mable Normand, Mack Sennett and dozens of other comedy actors/actresses of lesser prominence. Cover shows some light wear along margins and rounding at corners with some insect damage to cloth binding. Fine-. A few of the first and last pages show wear at binding but overall pages are VF+.
