Item Description
Complete set of 15 figurines by Determined Productions for their 1972 line. This extensive collection features most of the main Peanuts characters including Charlie Brown (featured in 5 figurines), Lucy (featured in 4), Linus (featured in 4, 3 shown with his ever-present security blanket), Sally (1 with Linus) and Snoopy (8, 2 with Charlie Brown and 2 with Woodstock). Of special note, one of these Snoopy figurines depict him as a World War I flying ace sitting at a French café table with caption label “Perhaps Some Dark-Haired Lass Will Share My Table.” Another Snoopy figurine shows him wearing Uncle Sam hat with caption “America, You’re Beautiful!” Each has felt bottom with ©1972 United Features Syndicate, Inc. and Determined Productions, Inc. name. Some other key figurines show Charlie Brown visiting Lucy’s “Psychiatric Help 5¢” stand with “The Doctor Is In” text on front of stand and “Even My Anxieties Have Anxieties” label. Another great piece shows Linus, Schroeder in catcher’s gear with “How Can We Lose When We’re So Sincere?” label. Great depictions of Charles Schulz’s characters. This complete set was given to consigner by Determined Productions at the time of production and has remained in consignor’s collection since 1973. N. Mint overall. This extensive set includes many rarities and varieties to this set.
