Item Description
13x19x2.5” deep box with fold-open cover having large batsymbol at center. Inside flaps give history of Batman with emphasis on 3 decades – 1940s, 1970s, 1990s. Set includes trio of 11” tall poseable action figures done in the Mego style, each reflecting Batman’s appearance in the 1940s, 1970s and 1990s. Produced by Kenner for FAO Schwarz. ©1996 DC Comics. Each action figure comes with a packaged card showing comic from the decade represented. Also includes holographic Batman card by Kenner. Figure set was released in 2 versions, this is known as the “Error” version in which the 1970s and 1990s Batman chest symbols have colors reversed with black ellipses behind yellow batsymbols as opposed to the regular yellow ellipses with black batsymbols. Box shows handling wear at edges and corners with surface paper rubbing and small tears. Fine+ overall with figures Mint as packaged. Scarce variant.
