Issues include Vol. 13 #2, Vol. 18 #3, Vol. 19 #1, Vol. 26 #3-4, Vol. 27 #1, Vol. 27 #4. Stories deal w/unusual and supernatural phenomena set in aeronautical stories. All covers were done by Blakeslee and some of the more unusual features depict large birdman attacking bi-planes, skeletons in gondola, phantom attacking plane. All issues feature bi-planes on covers. Aug. 1943 issue has moderate wear to cover including a tear at back spine which runs 5.75" but cover is still attached. Covers have usual cover overlap creases/tears. VG. Pages are complete and cream-colored, supple. VF.
