Item Description
2-1/8” apparently only used in England where this consignment came from and confirmed by tiny text on curl “Whitehead & Hoag Co. London Made In U.S.A.” Collet and metal back has about 40% with some oxidation spots on the surface a bit rough to the touch but not causing any problem in addition to the very slight age stain showing a little on the extreme outer edge. In addition at 4 o’clock on the curl is a 1/16” dot of cello gone. Button still displays very clean with full intense color. A design we’ve never seen on buttons used in the USA.
