7-7/8x9.25" in same format as #1558. Made by Blue Ribbon Press Pleasure
Books Inc. © 1935 King Features Syndicate Inc. Covers have art of Tim and
Spud in jungle w/Tim firing pistol into air. First pop-up shows fight between
gorilla and black panther, Tim and Spud at lower left w/Spud holding gun.
Second pop-up has elephant charging toward reader and being chased by gorillas,
one of which sits on tree branch w/Tim. Third pop-up has gorilla threatening
Tim and Spud. Minor dust soiling and aging to cover, all pop-up mechanisms work
well, pages are complete and clean. First pop-up has a .25" tear at base of
panther. VF.
