Item Description
8.25” overall with striking gold celluloid grips which contain a knife blade 2-1/8” long which folds out. One side has company name and Chicago address with name in red “Charles Abrams.” Opposite side has facsimile signature of “Donald L. Dunsing.” One name may be that of the salesman while the other may be that of a customer. Front grip has pair of tiny 1/8” cello cracks at bottom right while reverse top edge of grip has 2 pinpoint nicks. Opener blade shows traces of tarnish but knife blade is essentially Mint. 1930s and only example we’ve seen.
