Item Description
2-1/8” with tiny W&H maker’s text on the reverse plus large text “The Katy Flyer For St. Louis, Chicago, Kansas City And North Texas, City Ticket Office 121 Alamo Plaza.” Front of the button shows fashionable woman holding parasol and leather bag marked with company initials in one hand while from her other hand is a blue ribbon attached to the red logo of the firm reading “The MK And T” with tiny text “Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway.” Large surrounding text on the outer edge is “’Katy Is In Town’/San Antonio April 1901.” About a half dozen small gray age marks on the right side but overall of minor import on a beautiful large button. Only example we know of. Comes with Hake’s COA.
