Item Description
4x7x1” deep box. Artist/creator Harold Gray name appears on illustrations. Lid text reads “A Guaranteed American Watch For The American Girl.” Label on box end notes “Orphan Annie/Blue Strap.” This watch has brown leather strap.Leather band is worn, split, VG. Box remains tight, bright and clean. Box VF. Insert with same Harold Gray illustration. Two .25” creases appear by watch tab on insert, o/w insert is clean, bright and Exc. About as nice as these come. Also comes with 2 papers including guarantee folder and sales receipt from the New Haven Clock Co. Papers have lt. wear and orginal fold lines. Fine. .75x1” rectangular watch case with silver luster has full figure illustration of Annie on dial with copyright below. Also “Harold Gray” name appears by leg. Watch works. Yellowed crystal but o/w watch is Exc. This is the first Orphan Annie watch.
