Item Description
11.25x15.25” stiff cardboard cover book promoting 1930-1931 season of MGM films and MGM’s stars including Ramon Novarro, Norma Shearer, Lon Chaney Sr., film “The Crisis” based on novel by Winston Churchill and shorts including Laurel & Hardy, Our Gang, Flip the Frog cartoons, etc. Of particular note is inclusion of Lon Chaney Sr. in this 1930-1931 exhibitors book, given Chaney’s early and untimely death in 1930. Some pages loose at binding but still intact and bound. Scattered handling wear more moderately so on cover which has dust soiling and penciling. Good/VG. Interior contents show lt. aging/dust soiling and are VF overall. Complete copy. Scarce due to limited distribution. Additional photos online.
