Show starred Dale Robertson as Ben Calhoun and ran Sep., 1966-Jan., 1968. Show focused on the construction of Buffalo Pass, Scalplock & Defiance Railroad under Calhoun’s direction. Robertson is pictured as Calhoun in photo image on box lid. Contents includes box of track and train is headed by “Iron Horse” engine and attached firewood car totaling 9” in length. This car and all others are inscribed on sides by “BP. S&D Railroad.” Remaining train is comprised of 6” long passenger combine (mail car/passenger car in one) with silhouettes of passengers in windows. 4” long car with simulated wood crate flanked on each side by figures of cowboys engaged in gun battle. Cars are individually boxed within. Inner boxes show lt. corner tips/edge wear with some creasing to Iron Horse box and small tears around window of track box. O/w Exc. contents. Box lid shows heavy wear and has restoration and cardboard reinforcement added to underside of box lid and box bottom. Good. This set most likely did not come with transformer as box filler inserts leave no space for one. Most likely never used.
