Item Description
7.5x12.75x3” deep box contains Monogram kit #6779. Part of a series of 3 Monogram Snoopy kits produced and ©1970 United Features Syndicate, Inc. This is “Snoopy And His Sopwith Camel” bi-plane kit. Kit comes complete and unassembled with all pieces remaining on sprues. Original instruction sheet included with warp as boxed. Box shows lt. wear with creasings at corners and dust soiling. VF with N. Mint, unused contents. “Snoopy’s Dream Machine!” Comes in 9x18.5x3.5” deep box. ©1965 United Features Syndicate, Inc. but c. 1970s. Glossy, brightly colored cardboard airplanes with battery-operated motors and flashing lights come unassembled with instructions for making moving mobile. When assembled, Snoopy and the Red Baron sit in their own motorized airplanes at opposite ends of the metal rod suspended from the ceiling. Motors turn propellers and lights flash as if each is firing machine guns. Box has original $34.00 price tag taped to underside which was very expensive for the time and did not sell well which is why this set is rare. Box shows wear with creasing and color rubs. Fine with unused, N. Mint contents.
