Item Description
8.5” long tin litho with celluloid head. 1930s by Fukuda, Japan. Soldier is depicted wearing cap and has rifle slung over one shoulder, uniform decorated at collar by an eagle attachment that has pendant picturing a cat. Simulated belt depicted with sword and canteen. Toy works and rapidly moves legs as it propels itself forward. Arms also move. Scattered pinpoint paint nicks and tiny scratches to tin body. Just below left ear is a minor .25” hairline not visible when viewed straight-on. Fine.
