Auction #200 - Part II
Item numbers 1187 through 2776 in auction 200
Item Description
Ring is 2-5/8” long from 1949 set issued as premiums by Post’s Toasties Corn Flakes whose name and copyright appears on reverse. Reverse of ring has 3 small areas of silver luster gone but the paint on the front still remains very clean and Fine with just some tiny wear traces. Metal has couple of slight ripples. The charm bracelet is 4.5” long also from the 1940s. There is no copyright. Three of the charms closely resemble the family characters of Blondie, Cookie and Alexander. The other 3 charms consist of dog, cat and man in blue vest and pants. While these charms are obviously part of the original bracelet, neither the man nor the dog resemble the comic strip characters. The bracelet’s original clasp is gone but a bent wire does serve to keep it closed if desired. Paint and luster remain Exc.
